Meetings

Meetings occur only as needed at 7:00 pm at the ATA Clinic, 5129 Cameron Rd. Members who feel a need to meet more often should come to our monthly class, and we'll get together after class.

Classes

To learn about our classes, or to enroll in the next class, please call the instructor at 454-0108. Basic feral cat trapping classes meet on the third Monday of the month at TLAC, Davenport Building, 7:00 pm. There is no fee.

• Emancipet ($22/$26 for males/females, including post-op pain medication); on Fridays, free spay/neuters and rabies shots for pets of Austin residents living east of Congress Avenue. They will do the surgery after they are 8 weeks old (for ferals, shelter animals or fosters). Also, be sure to speak to them about ear notching for ferals. • Veterinarians participating in the Texas Veterinary Medical Association's Maddie's Fund grant for low-income residents.

• Veterinarians who have agreed to sterilize a few feral cats per week for ATA prices. For an up-to-date list, call Animal Trustees at 450-0111. Call the vet's office first for an appointment, and thank these generous doctors for their contribution to the feral cause!
